PRODUCT OVERVIEW

Our Argon 5% 25 Litres is the UK's most popular mix for MIG/GMAW mild steel welding. It is a precise blend of welding gas made up of 93% Argon, 5% Carbon Dioxide and 2% Oxygen. Argon 5 is perfect for MIG welding of steel less than 5mm thick, such as car bodywork and thin sheet metal work.

The mix of Argon, CO₂and Oxygen gives the perfect blend between arc stability, penetration and reduced spatter. Argon 5 is also known as Argoshield Light (BOC), Cougar 5 (Air Products), Corgan 5 (Linde Gas), Hobbyweld 5 (Hobbyweld Gas), MIG Shield 5 (Ryval Gas) and Exellar 5(Air Liquide). All our welding gas cylinders use the same regulator fittings as BOC, Air Products, Air Liquide, Hobbyweld, SGS Gases, Ryval Gas and Adams Gas.
