The Monolith Icon Heat Deflector Stone coupled with the charcoal basket is the perfect accessory to create different heat zones when cooking, meaning it allows you to cook indrectly and directly all at the same time. The stone is made up like 2 half moon shapes, with lifting handles. Simply sit one deflector half on the other and this will allow you to grill directly on one half over the grill and indirectly on the stone in the other half. The deflector stone protects your meats from direct heat, cooking them to perfection.
